Sum based on ranking

Hi,

I'm trying to work out a DAX to solve the below problems, but cannot figure it out myself.

The above table has three columns, and my objective is to sum up the value for all the names with the highest score. (in the red circle).

Anyone has a way to solve this by using DAX? No additional table can be created.

Thanks.

= SUMX( VALUES( Table1[Name] ) , CALCULATE( MAX( Table1[Value] ) ) )

Thanks to the great efforts by MS engineers to simplify syntax of DAX! Most beginners are SUCCESSFULLY MISLED to think that they could easily master DAX; but it turns out that the intricacy of the most frequently used RANKX() is still way beyond their comprehension!

DAX is simple, but NOT EASY!

**bleep**! It works! @CNENFRNL Thank you!

Could you help to elaborate a bit on the logic of this DAX? Want to learn. 🙂
