If DATESYTD ( [dates], EndOfYear) returns dates the from the last end of year until the last date (in the current FY) in the Dates Table - then should we limit the Dates Table to only have dates up to the current date?
Genuine question as I can't quite believe that DATESYTD has such a feature.
Thanks
Paul

@paulsmith It is extremely common practice for a dates table to contain future dates. Technically, DATESYTD should return dates for the year to date, in the current context. But let me be clear, the TI functions in DAX are pretty awful.
