Reverse Running total with a twist

Hi

I am using the formula

reverse = calculate([Ongoing],filter(allselected(DateTable[Date]),DateTable[Date]>=MIN(DateTable[Date])))
for reverse running total of column "Ongoing". But I need the result in the table be one month earlier.

This is my table now:
reverse.PNG
What I need is the result showing one month earlier
so t.ex. 2021 Jul showing 8, and 2021 Jun showing 6
I have tried using the nextmonth formula without luck.

Hope there is somebody out there that can help me.

Hi

Thank you for leading me in the right direction 🙂

The solution was as follow:

reverse running totals = calculate([Ongoing],filter(allselected(DateTable[Date]),DateTable[Date]>=MIN(DateTable[Date])+DAY ( EOMONTH (DateTable[Date], 0 ) )))

Hi @TerCh ,

Try this measure:

reverse = calculate([Ongoing],filter(allselected(DateTable[Date]),DateTable[Date]>=MIN(DateTable[Date])+1))

Mark this as a solution, if I answered your question. Kudos are always appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi

Thanks, but as you can see in column reverse2, its is not workingreverse2.PNG

Hi @TerCh ,

Try this:

reverse = calculate([Ongoing],filter(allselected(Table[Year Month]),Table[Year Month]>=MIN(Table[Year Month])+1))

I'm not sure what date table you are using, but my date field [Year Month] is text format an can not used here.
