Referencing values within a table visual (not a data table)

Good day to you all.  This may be in the wrong category, but here goes:

  • Have a single data/fact table
  • Have two identical table visuals displaying info from the fact table which are updating based on a set of slicers, except for one visual is not linked to/using one of the slicers.  The result is that the VisualTableA has a "total" view of the data, whereas VisualTableB has the further filtered view of the data.

What I want to do is take the TotalValue for a column from VisualTableA, and divide it by the corresponding/matching column from VisualColumnB.  There are two columns I want to this for, and I am planning on displaying the results in a card  or something along that line.

How can I reference those values in a DAX computation or in some other way?  Or can it even be done?

Thanks in advance for your guidance.

@BerryRogers , No you can not do that, You have to create a measure for that. And if both table are using same slicer with different values using interaction, then you need independent tables too
