i have a powerpivot of two sheets (invoices and Weight Report) that hav many to many relationship. I created 4 unique tables for as a work around to create relationships for the two sheets. I added all 6 tables to my data models.
i created a dax/formula to sum up all net weight column in the weight report, but it looks like powerpivot is not capturing all the data in the table (Ship to #/Site # 3000894262 or 3000894263). when i create the pivot table using the invoice data first and then bringing in the DAX for Total net weight, it's able to capture majority but not all rows in the weight report.
Also is there a way to pull in the Unit rate on the Weight report if there's mulitple rate for one manifest id?
Hi @mariomyhanh usually many to many relationship is not good option unless user really want it.
The best for DAX be to use dimensions and fact table. Did you think about remodelling your file with Power Query or something and then use DAX for measures?
DAX in Excel has some limitations
