One slicer for different date tiers

Hi,

I would like to create 1 slicer which has different tiers (<1 year, 1-3 years, 3-5 years, 5+ years) based on a "closed date" for accounts closed in those specific parameters.  There is no $ amount, we just want to see which accounts were closed in those time periods.  It should be from the current date - closed date so not necessarily based on the year, but based on how many months ago.  (Rolling 12 months etc) I have a date table.

How would I be able to do that?

Thank you!

Hi @v-xiaotang

Bascially just something like this slicer but instead of showing the months, it shows
<1 year
1-3 years
3-5 Yeas
5+ years

I don't want it to show each individual date as there are too many.  But somehow group the data into the above categories and show the dates on a visualization based on the selected year catergory.

I hope that that makes more sense. Month slicer.png

you may need a dimension table, which defines the range of each layer.
