Need suggestion on Dax

I have current scores and need to get previous scores for the data which is taken weekly basis. When there is change in value it is showing duplicate record. One for previous and other row for actual score

Hi @Madhuri_varma ,

Based on the original description, as per my understanding:
Show each week’s score alongside the with prior week’s score, without duplicating entire rows when values change.

Please find the attached pbix file with sample data and dax measures to help to acieve the solution.
current score and the prior weeks score.pbix

Please let me know if you have further questions.

Hi @Madhuri_varma

Thank you for sharing your DAX requirement. From your description, it seems that you're working with weekly data and aiming to retrieve previous scores alongside current ones. However, you’re encountering duplicate records when the score changes one row reflecting the previous score and another showing the actual score. To provide an accurate and effective solution, we would need a bit more clarity on your expected outcome. Specifically, it would be helpful if you could share a sample of your dataset (including key columns such as date, score, and any relevant identifiers), clarify how current and previous scores should be calculated, and provide an example of the desired output format. This additional context will enable us to better understand your scenario and guide you appropriately.

Regards,
Karpurapu D,
