Hi guys, I want a calculated column next to my date column which would indicate the latest Date(specifically month) in the column and bring "Latest Month" and also would indicate -1 month from "Latest Month" and bring it as "Previous Month". The rest is blank. Example:
I have written a dax but it gives me all blanks..

@Anonymous
Try this, minor chagne, I replaced today with the max
Month =
var _CurrMonth = MAX('Portfolio status'[Date])
var _CurrDate= 'Portfolio status'[Date]
return
IF( FORMAT(_CurrDate,"yyyymm") = FORMAT(_CurrMonth,"yyyymm"), "CURRENT",
IF( FORMAT(_CurrDate,"yyyymm") = FORMAT(EOMONTH(_CurrMonth,-1),"yyyymm"), "PREVIOUS")
)

Add this code as a new column to your table:
Month =
var _CurrMonth = TODAY()
var _CurrDate= 'Portfolio status'[Date]
return
IF( FORMAT(_CurrDate,"yyyymm") = FORMAT(_CurrMonth,"yyyymm"), "CURRENT",
IF( FORMAT(_CurrDate,"yyyymm") = FORMAT(EOMONTH(_CurrMonth,-1),"yyyymm"), "PREVIOUS")
)

Ok, @Fowmy , today() is not suitable for me, as latest date may be with the huge delay, please see my screenshot. That is the exact dates I have now.
@Fowmy , thanks for prompt reply but it only gives me "PREVIOUS" values and rest is blank.
