Hi,
I am trying to do something in Power BI and cannot figure nout how to do it in a measure but can in a column but the column is not providing me with the full picture I am looking for. I need to take a quantity value, then multiply that number by a slicer selected value that is in .25% intervals. I want to then take the new quantity values and multipy each line item by an inputed value that deal with months and "cuts". Is there a way I can do this in one measure in order to put the new amounts in tables, visuals, ETC. Here are some SS of what I am working with.
Hi @Jacobmiller23 ,
Based on my testing, please try the following methods:
1.Create the sample tables.
2.Drag the value into the slicer visual.
3.Create the new measure to calculate values.
New values =
var _slicer = SELECTEDVALUE('Table 2'[Value])
var _adjust = SUMX(
'Table',
'Table'[Quantity] * _slicer
)
var result = SUMX('Table pric', 'Table pric'[Price] * _adjust)
RETURN
result
4.The result is shown below.

would like ((Old Quantity)*(Selected change))*(Entered price in excel) Basically an index match match but that does not seem to be a thing.
Hi,
Do I have the create the price table because I do not think it will work as a major part of my whole project is the entered in prices in the EXCEL file.
Thanks!
