Hi,

I have the following data, where the member of the Families A and B are listed.

I want to show the members of the a family when I select a one of its members filtering by PersonId field.

For Example:

If I select the PersonId 1728364.

I want to show the members of the A family as it's shown in the following image:

I think this could be solved with dax, but I don't how, so I hope you could help me.

Thanks.

Hi,

One of ways to solve this is to create disconnected slicer table like below.

Please check the below picture and the attached pbix file.

It is for creating a measure.

Untitled.png

PersonID Measure: =
VAR _selectedfamily =
    SUMMARIZE (
        FILTER ( ALL ( Data ), Data[PersonID] IN VALUES ( Slicer[PersonID] ) ),
        Data[FamilyID]
    )
RETURN
    IF (
        HASONEVALUE ( Data[Name] ),
        CALCULATE ( MAX ( Data[PersonID] ), Data[FamilyID] = _selectedfamily )
    )

Hi @Jihwan_Kim, how would you change this if a Name can belong to multiple FamilyID?

Jihwan_Kim, thanks a lot for your help.
