Hi all
I have a monthly data source which has date columns showing:
I am trying to create a new date column that gives 1st of the month for a standard UK date format e.g. top row would be 01/04/2017.
I have calculated the year from the fiscal year (labelled year in the table) and the month number from month column:
Now all it seems I need to do is add a "01/" & MONTHUM &"/" & Year but its now a string. How do I get a proper date?
Manyy thanks

My advice is to not create a string, but an actual date column and than add your favorite date format. to create the date (computed) colum: DATE([Year], [MONTHNUM],1)
I Have managed to fix it now using Bing Chat which gave me:
DATE([Year], [Month Number], 1)
Works just fine!
