Hide Columns but keep it in the Total

Hi,
i have a demand to create a table/matrix that shows for each custmer the qty sold for each month and compare the total qty sold to lasy year (LY) quantity sold

 

However, the demend specify that the LY qty will not be shown for each Month but only shown on the total columns, basiclly this is the end result needed:

I was able to "hide" the data from LY column but the header still exist:

 

Now you probably say: "hide it with some UI Magic" but LY isn't the only column i need to add like this and the morecolumns I add the more ridicilous it look, and if you think "Just change the column width" well it means I would need to manually hide the column every new month added , and it far from ideal.

I realize this demand is probably not possible in Power Bi as it's more of an Excel based demand but i thought it worth a shot to ask the community experts.

Push back on the business ask. If they want Excel like behaviour they should continue to use Excel.

Offer them to use separate visuals.
