Hi Friends,
I have a table Visual with 5 coulmns, Eg:
Students | Subject |
A | Maths |
A | Science |
A | English |
A | French |
B | Maths |
B | English |
C | Maths |
C | Science |
C | English |
Excepted Result :
Students | Subject |
A | Maths |
Science | |
English | |
French | |
B | Maths |
English | |
C | Maths |
Science | |
English |
In this scenario I cant use Matrix visual because apart from this 2 coulmns I have 3 more coulmns with numbers. If I use Matrix the number coulmns are getting SUM. can we achieve the excepted result using DAX or anyother approach? TIA
I guess it won't be complex to hide the text using conditional formatting by selecting the the text color same as the background ground color.
the issue is which subject comes first? I can that the subjects are not arranged in alphabetical order. And I guess not all students have math against what is presented in your example.
Subject will not be in alphabetical order. The subject order is based on students alphabetical order.
