Hello PBI Community,
I was wondering if anyone could help me.
I have a Tab, on the tab the table is Data and the column is Type. There is a simple button slicer and in the column there are 4 options Apple, Banana, Mango, Carrot.
I created 2 bookmarks and put them on the tab as well, one called Carrot and the other Not Carrot.
I would like for the bookmark when Carrot is selected from the Filter to also activate the Carrot Botton from the bookmark navigation. And if Apple, Banana and Mango are selected for it to activate the Not Carrot option.
Is there a way to bind the bookmark navigator to the filter for type, please? And thank you.

Hi @Krystal_D ,
Thanks for reaching out.
At the moment, it’s not possible to dynamically trigger a bookmark based on a slicer selection. Bookmark navigators and slicers work independently, and there’s no native feature to bind one to the other.
A possible workaround is placing buttons over slicer items to simulate a bookmark being triggered on selection, though this still requires manual interaction with the button. Another approach is using a Bookmark navigator or separate buttons to represent predefined slicer states and navigate between them.

There’s an idea submitted in the Fabric Ideas forum requesting support for linking bookmarks to slicer values. You can upvote it to help prioritize this capability in future updates.

Hope this helps. Please reach out for further assistance.

Hi @Krystal_D ,
I don't think the type of binding you are looking for is currently supported. You can bind a filter to a bookmark but should not be able to do it the other way around. You could perhaps opt for a bookmark to bookmark binding to achieve the above but I would not really recommend it. Personally, I try to avoid complicated use of bookmarks (unless I really have to) as they get too chaotic too soon.
Hope it helps!
