I have a similar request to Solved: Building matrix/table using measures - Microsoft Fabric Community.
Though my requirements is to have column b in the matrix to be spilt or breakdown the measure by Period, Month and Year then have a grand total at the end.
From above table to the one below.
How best can I achieve this with no relationship between my Projects table and the Dim_date as this information is all in excel for tracking purposes. Worth to note the different projects are measures calculated from different tables

Hi @Anonymous ,
(1) Prepare such test data.
(2) Create a month column.
Month = FORMAT([Date],"mmm")
(3) Create a matrix visual.
If the above one can't help you get the desired result, please provide some sample data in your tables (exclude sensitive data) with Text format and your expected result with backend logic and special examples. It is better if you can share a simplified pbix file. Thank you.
Best Regards,
Neeko Tang
