DAX DirectQuery can't use FORMAT to know name of the day

Hi 

 

I need to make an dashborad where values get showen by name day. The problem is that i need to make an extra colum with name of the day but i can' use format cause i am using directQuery does somebody knows how i can get it?

@Anonymous That's a column that needs to be in the table by default, get your DBA to add it for you.
