Hi,
I have a matrix which has multiple measures as values. I want to create a column which assigns categories for the measures. So for example I have 10 measures named Measure 1 to Measure 10. All 10 measure are already placed in the matrix. I want to create a column which assigns these measure some categories. Like Measure 1 to Measure 4 should have "Category A", Measure 5 to Measure 7 should have "Category B" and Measure 8 to Measure 10 should have "Category C".
This should appear as column next to the Measure names in Matrix. Please note that the measure belong to different tables but are in a single Matrix Visual.
So in essence there should be a category name next to each Measure name or even a common name if a bunch of measure from same categories are selected back to back. Either way.
Hi @Vatz8
Power BI's matrix visual primarily aggregates data and doesn't natively support the direct categorization of measures within the visual itself. You can try looking for custom visuals to see if they meet your needs.
Best Regards,
Jayleny
