Conditional Formatting using 2 Text Columns

I would like to create a DAX formula that will compare one column to another. I have a table. Column 1 has 2 items:  It will either say "Reported Timely" OR "Not Reported Timely". If the item says "Not Reported Timely" then I want to highlight the 2nd column in YELLOW if the 2nd columns shows as blank. The second column is "The reason it was not reported timely".

Column 1 Name = Eform Reported Timely by Sumbitter

Column 2 Name = Submitter Timeliness Explained

THIS IS WHAT I NEED IT TO DO:

  • I only need the ones highlighted in YELLOW if the 1st column says "Not Reported Timely" AND the 2nd column is blank.
  • So if column 1 says "Not Reported Timely" AND column 2 is BLANK, then I need the background in column 2 to be highlighted in the color YELLOW.

Truly appreciate any assistance you can provide. 😊

And you are a genius!!! Thank you. You just helped me become more productive at work. I can now take a manual, tedious Excel process that would take me about 6 hours and now turn that process into literally 5 minute refresh using Power BI and the measure you gave me. THANK YOU @Dangar332
