Accumulated value from calculated measure

Hi,

I am making a covid dashboard, I have calculated and segregated data based on their covid status like Cases, Deaths and Recoved,

I have calculated measures using dax like sum of total cases, and change in cases: (new cases - previous cases) based on Date.

now that have calculated the differnce but it isn't accumulated. I might be missing something really small but it has been bugging me for last 4 days. little help needed. thx 🙂

@fahadkhan ,

Try this:

NewMeasure= SUMX(VALUES (Table[Date]), New Cases)

Mark this as a solution if I answered your question.

Thanks

@fahadkhan This looks like a measure aggregation problem. See my blog article about that here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Design-Pattern-Groups-and-Super-Groups/ba-p/138149

The pattern is:
MinScoreMeasure = MINX ( SUMMARIZE ( Table, Table[Group] , "Measure",[YourMeasure] ), [Measure])
MaxScoreMeasure = MAXX ( SUMMARIZE ( Table, Table[Group] , "Measure",[YourMeasure] ), [Measure])
AvgScoreMeasure = AVERAGEX ( SUMMARIZE ( Table, Table[Group] , "Measure",[YourMeasure] ), [Measure])
etc.
