I have a parameter that allows me to toggle among different dimensions of a product. For example, I can select either Product Type or Product Storage Requirements as options. I want the user to be able to choose those different views of the products, with rows representing geographic divisions, and the columns that show up will have the values associated with each parameter selection (type = produce, beverages, canned goods, etc.; storage = frozen, dry, etc.) grouped by fiscal year - in other words, those values will be grouped under fiscal years, and it will show (e.g.) current fiscal year product types next to prior fiscal year product types when selecting product type. However, when I put the fiscal year field above the parameter in the column section of my matrix, only the fiscal year appears on the page. If I switch them and put fiscal year beneath the product type, only product type appears on the page and sums across both fiscal years. Any insights? Thanks.
use the fork arrow to expand the hierarchy. If you have both row and column hierarchies you first need to set to "drill on columns"
Thanks!
