Hi Team,
I am trying to develop a custom combo area line chart,
but I am not able to see the "visual option" in the “Format Visual” section beside “General.”
Can you please tell me how I can get the visual option in Power BI Service or Desktop?
Hello @varun1A23 ,
Ensure that the correct visual type (Combo Chart, Line & Area Chart, etc.) is selected. Power BI visual formatting options depend on the type of visual you are using. If the wrong chart type is selected, it might not show the options you are looking for.
If you find this helpful , please mark it as solution which will be helpful for others and Your Kudos/Likes are much appreciated!
Thank You

Hi @dharmendars007 ,
Thank you for your reply. I am not using the visual provided by Power BI. I have created my own custom visual for a combo area line chart. For that, I am not getting the visual option in “Format a visual.” I have tried keeping objects before the dataViewMappings array and adding "objects": {} in capabilities.json, but I am still not getting the option. Can you please give me the procedure to get the visual option in “Format a visual”?
