The text filter I have shows up blank when I upload my report to Power BI Service. It works when I am on my desktop though. Any solutions to this?
your users are supposed to enter their search terms there. The visual will be empty by default.
This is how it should look (this is a screenshot from my desktop power bi):
This is how it looks in power bi service:
Cannot reproduce
And I was wrong - it does carry over the developer defined default filter.
Do you know of a solution so it works in power bi service?
As I showed it works for me in the service. Try in your browser's incognito mode.
Still doesn't work for me in incognito mode. It seems like multiple people have had this issue. I will have to try to contact Microsoft to solve this.
Which visual is that?
It is just called text filter, from Microsoft.
