Need a month slicer to only affect month columns of matrix.

All matrix columns are measures. There are day, month, and year measures in the matrix. I need the day and year values to remain fixed (not respond to the slicer). I tried adding removefilters functions to one of the year measures but it didn't work. Please help. Thanks

@pryorr382 Is there any way that you can provide additional information or even sample data to help recreate the issue? Measure formulas would be great as well.
