Hi all,
I have a use-case where a client in my org requires visuals from AppSource. Currently, installation of visuals in the PBI service environment is not enabled.
What is the best way to allow this?
Thanks in advance!

If you have limitations imposed on the use of visuals at a tenant level, you basically have two options for using custom visuals: either organizational visuals (which are for everyone), or you can discuss the possibility of allowing visuals based on a security group, e.g.:
This can't be configured by workspace, but is still a more granular option. This functionality is available for all custom visual options in a tenant (e.g. further restricting to certified visuals only).
Note that both these options are tenant/admin level, so there will need to be some negotiation with your admins either way.

another (way more) crude way is to manually import the visual into each PBIX individually from the JSON. You can either download that from the Appstore or extract it from an existing PBIX. Expect issues with versioning, and quite some manual effort.
