I have a paginated report with half millions rows working on my local computer, but in Power BI service, I always get the error:

May I ask if you have gotten this issue resolved? If it is solved, please share your solution and accept it as solution, it will be helpful for other members of the community who have similar problems as yours to solve it faster.

Thanks! The issue was not resolved totally, but the refresh works when using the hard coded instead of parameter, so the developer is looking into the possible solution now. The case can be closed I think

In your description, you have half a million rows of data.
And the size limit of the paging report is 12 MB.
If a Paginated report exceeds the 12 MB size limit, you may get an error when refreshing. This is because the Power BI Service is unable to process reports that exceed this limit, causing the refresh to fail.

That should work if your data source allows that much data in the service. An unexpected error does look to be a problem, you can file a support request to follow up.
