Is this the most effective way and place to suggest improvements for the Chiclet slicer?
If not please advise me.
If so, I would like to see different colors options for font; selected, unselected and hover.
Depending on your color set this is needed.
If for the button; unselected is a light color, and selected is a dark color, you need these options.
Can you share a screenshot for better udnerstanding the issue?

See image with blue colors. My company has standards in color usage I must use. If I use these colors the selected text is almost unreadable. It would be better if we had options for text color for selected, unselected and hover. In that case I would make the selected color white, and the unselected color black. See image with black and white colors for exaggerated example (not my company standard but illustrates the problem best)
You can use another Text color and Hover Color.
Let me know if it helps.

Yes using another text color is a workaround but then I cannot comply to the color palette my company prescribes (black text). Also for design purposes it would be nice to have a different text color for selected and unselected. Alternative would be the possibility to use different image urls for selected and unselected, then we could make button images.
Thanks for details. We'll add this request into our backlog.

Must have a big backlog because this is still the case
Doesn't appear this feature has been added yet. This is me seconding the request.
I swear older versions of Power Bi allowed you to do this with the normal slicer anyway, how can an update lead to less formatting options smh
