Something went wrong - Value cannot be null. Parameter name: stream error

When attempting to Edit a Report in Power BI Desktop from the Power BI Report Server, I receive the "Something went wrong - Value cannot be null. Parameter name: stream" error and the report is blank...

Hi mczeigler12 ,

 

First try to upgrade the power bi desktop for rs to the latest version. If the issue is still existing, please try to clean the cache in :  

File -> Options and settings -> Options -> Data Load (under global) -> Folded artifacts cache options -> clear cache

This should clear and regenrate the cache. (the error occurs when trying to read the cache.)
