Slicer selection button color change using native visual

Dear All,

Wish you good day..!!

I struck with one need help

How I can change native power bi slicer color of selected element? I know that i can control using format for value.. but what about selected button square or check box it remains black every time.. tried all option with json theme but nothing worked. I am looking to use only native visual control.

      Hi danextian , Thanks for your response, but unfortunately i been using power bi report server, not power bi cloud to avail these feature.

        What version of Power BI you're using? I created that with a Power BI Desktop version from  2024.

    Hello Pa1kumarP,

    Microsoft made the Button Slicer Generally Available in the Power BI Report Server January 2026 release. Once your administrator upgrades the server, the Button Slicer will appear in the Visualizations pane.
