Help with Dynamic Values in textboxes
I'm trying to put dynamic values into text boxes. Normally I can type into the "How would you calculate this value" search bar and I'll see a dropdown of whatever matches. So in my experience it will normally appear as shown below:
It says "Ask a question about your data". But in my current situation, that "Ask a question ..." text isn't there and when I type anything in, instead of returning search cases, the text I type will be greyed out.
So I'm unable to put dynamic values into my textboxes.
The other place where perhaps the same underlying issue seems to appear is with the Q&A visual. Previous both dynamic values and Q&A worked successfully, though now Q&A gives:
I haven't changed any settings and the dynamic values and Q&A functions both work in other PBI files. So maybe something is up with my data? Again, I don't recall having changed it in any way to cause this.
Does anyone know of a fix for either or both of these issues?
Thanks

Hi meh132 ,
Regarding your first question about Textbox, after my testing, showing gray is normal. Also you need to enter a complete and usable formula or procedure in the box for the results to be returned.Regarding your second question, you were using Q&A fine before, but then it reported an error. I would like to ask if you have changed the dataset or changed the connection mode? If you haven't, it's possible that Power BI doesn't recognize the problem you're entering. You can do some troubleshooting based on this document.
