Hi all, lbendlin dm-p Marc_Ponick I recently completed an analysis task for virgin atlantic which includes dashboard development. Some of the feedback I got was that a) I built a very basic dashboard. b)I created only basic calculated measures. The questions they wanted the dashboard to answer is as follows: 1. How does the load factor vary by the weekday of departure for each cabin? 2.What is the lead time profile (in days) between booking date and travel date, and how is it different for Upper class customers compared to Economy and Premuim customers? 3. Whats the difference in average revenue between TMC and Direct channel ? Does this vary by any other factor? Can anyone help with suggestions on how I could have improved my visuals based on the above and which measures I should have added?. I would really appreciate this so i dont make the same mistakes next time. Hello everyone, I've built a report that is to be used to summarise various economic data. I have been trying to add a slicer into my Power BI report to filter by country across all pages. I had managed to do this, but as soon as I deselected that country and chose another, the visuals wouldn't load. Having deleted the slicer, I cannot revert back either and now all visuals (charts/graphs) that would have been affected by the fitler are now blank. How do I rectify this? - My look clean (None across all pages, 'all' selected on each visual, etc.) - Table mapping of relationships appears correct - Table validation is also okay (e.g. for Italy there is GDP data, it just won't show in the visual) Am I missing something obvious? Thanks in advance!Drill down on Matrix no longer an option after marking date dim table as date table
I have a matrix that I created that used a date dim table date field as one of the values. I wanted to add some previous months calculations to the matrix. In order for my dax to work properly, I marked the date dim table as a date table. Now however, The date field from the date dim table no longer shows a time hierarchy (year-> quarter -> month). it only has stagnant dates (1/1/2023). If you use the date field from the date dim table in a visual, does marking the date dim table as a date table prohibit the drill down feature? After marking the date dim table as a date, I now have this icon next to the field. Has anyone found a way to mark the date dim table as a date table, but still be able to use it in visuals that will allow the drill down feature?Solved1.1KViews0likes2CommentsSlicers sorted by column
I have a dropdown slider, and I can't seem to get it to display the information I'm looking for. Would very much appreciate anyone's input. I would like it to display the total idle downtime for each month. I would like the dropdown slider to display each of the above fields. However, when I try to put them into the slicer, I get the result below. I'm very new to Power BI, so please excuse me if it's an easy fix. I just can't find a solution anywhere. Hi all Currently i have a survey that runs annualy. At the moment i have the values as % of grand total. I wish to have a % of year total instead. Is there a way to do this through a measure? Here is the visual The orange bars should add to 100% and the blue bars should add to 100% Thank youVisual Similar to Gantt Chart
Hello- I am looking for a visual that can allow me to automate this view in Power BI: Currently, the raw data is in row format with Start Date, End Date, Event Type, Event Name, and more columns. I would like the calendar year view on one screen with Event Type on the y axis and the Event Name in the chart. I have come close by trying a Gantt Chart. Below is the result of using PowerGantt Chart: However, the Gantt Chart lacks the following: Grouping: I would like Event Type to be the only Y axis with Event Title in the chart. Side by Side: Events side by side if they are under the same grouping PowerGantt Chart is the best option so far but it requires a paid license; the Microsoft Gantt Chart is not as strong (Rolls up to Day view max, not month)/Axis cannot be expanded That being said, is there a visual that mimicks the view of a Gantt Chart while fulfilling these needs? Thanks!3.1KViews0likes3Comments
