Slicers not visible in focus mode
Hi, I want users who view the reports in Report Server to be able to see which slicer choices are in use when they enter Focus Mode and choose to print the page. Or is there any way a user can print a specific visual with all the data visible along with the slicer choices that are in use? Can I somehow custom make Focus Mode through PBI Desktop? BR Emma

Hi, Could anybody please help me with the below I have three tables 1) Course table(has Roles, CourseName and uniqueID assigned to Course) 2) Employee Table(Employee name, CourseName and UniqueID assigned to the coursename). This table gives the the courses completed by the employees based on their Roles I need to build SSAS model, when I select the Role(1st slicer) - CourseName related to the roles should pop up. (2nd slicer is employeeName) when I select EmployeeName among those Coursenames if there is anything he/she completed it should show green or else Red how do I build this
Slicer values misaligned
Hi We're using May 2021 Report Server (1.11.7815.26414) with Edge 93.0.961.47 and we're experiencing the same issue as per this message: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Developer/Slicer-Dropdown-mis-aligned-in-embedded-using-Chrome-v93/m-p/2063740 Does anyone know if this issue is fixed in the September release of Report Server? Multiple slicers multiple selection not summing to the correct value
Hi, I have 2 different slicers each having different products; say Slicer 1 has 3 products-A, B, C, and Slicer 2 has 3 products-D, E, F. When I am selecting All values from both slicers it's giving me a correct cumulative added value in the card. But if I select any 1 or more values (but not all), the card value gets adjusted only to one slicer and doesn't give value summing up the selected values of both the slicer. Can someone please help me with this? calculate('Metrics'[Revenue], filter('Product',Product'[Product X]in {"A","B","C","D","E","F"}),FILTER('Calender','Calendar'[Quarter] in {2020Q1,2020Q2})) . Vanishing Slicer Data, differing User Experiences
We use a dashboard with multiple interrelated date filters. Today, while using the dsahboard, I adjusted the month slicer by removing checked months to narrow the focus. When I did, those month disappeared from the slicer and could not be brought back. I've tried refreshing the dashboard page, refreshing underlying data, rebooting my PC, accessing through different browsers, clearing browser history and cookies, and opening the desktop version as well. None restored the slicers to functionality. Oddly, no other users are having the same issue. The same behavior occurs in desktop Power BI. I'be tried adding a new slicer and associating it with the same data. When added, it shows no data though there is data in the underlying table. Help?!Persistent Filters on Sync Slicers
Hello, We have a report that has a landing page with slicers that are synced to other tabs. When a user has selected something on Tab 1, and comes back to the landing page to change the filtered option, the selected option on Tab 1 does not go away. The user has to deselect the option on Tab 1 to make it go away, which creates confusion for the users. Is there any way to remove this persistency, so that when the selection is changed on the landing page, all the tabs are automatically updated and the previously selected options are void? Slicer breaks other visuals when has a value selected
Hi everyone I've created a dashboard in PBI Desktop and works here with no issues at all. But, when I open this report from my PBI Report Server I face the following issue with a slicer: If no value is selected on the slicer, it is shown like this: But if I select a value on the slicer Customer Success Manager Name. I get the following: I don't know what might be causing this issue. The logs don't show much information and the error message when I click on See details are: An unexpected exception occurred. Please try again later or contact support. If you contact support, please provide these details. Questions regarding retaining slicer values for on-premise PBI & Sharepoint
I have received the following questions for an On-premise Power BI solution using Report Server and Sharepoint as a frontend Portal: - Can slicer values in a Power BI report be saved for future use? (Say the user has used slicers to filter in a report. The user would like to save the slicer values for future usage.) - Can the same user send the filtered report to a colleague while maintaining the slicer values? Any help is appreciated! (I did find this link but this might only apply to the Power BI Service)
