power bi report server January 2025 matrix visual
I have Power Bi Report server January 2025 (Version1.22.9153.7886(January 2025)) , creating a very simple report using Microsoft Power BI Desktop (Optimized for Power BI Report Server - January 2025) (Version: 2.138.2255.0 64-bit (January 2025)) The report has one slicer and one matrix, I save the report to report to Power Bi Report server January 2025 , the matrix does not work corretly. in the img bellow the state column is a hierarchy! in the desktop it show correctly but not in Power Bi Report Server. please help
Matrix visual missing 2 rows when uploaded to Report server
Hi Everyone, I have created a report with multiple pages and visuals in it. 2 of the pages contain matrix visual and I can see all the rows and values in the deskop version. Whereas, when I upload the report to the report server, 2 of the rows are missing. How is it possible? How can i correct this? Thanks in Advance!
Report matrix visual which is not updating
Hi all, I created a report with on one page a slicer and the other page a matrix which is controlled by the slicer. With the slicer I can filter on costumer-name. The matrix contains conditional formatting and a lot of collapsable data (so I have a vertical scrollbar on te right, as it doesn't fit on 1 page) What I want is a visualisation which can be shared with my customer. The visual needs to shows the matrix but the slicer can not be altered. So customers can only see their own data and not that of other customers. (can also be a dashboard, powerpoint, excel, pdf etc) I tried exporting to powerpoint. But embedded as image, does not give the customer the ability to scroll and collaps/expand. And embedded as live data, the customers need a powerbi licence themself to view. I also tried create subscription. But than all customers get the samen filtered data, and nit just their own. I'm trying to create a sort of dynamic PNL using the basic matrix visualization. The issue is that I want subtotals for each of the bolded catergories, and then a grand total (Net Income). I've created a matrix that functions properly, but there are extra lines of data that repeat catergory sums. In order to negate this issue, I placed grey shapes over the unwanted rows to hide them. The issue is that when I view the report on screens of different resolutions, the shapes move slightly. This movement will cause the shapes to be covering the wrong rows of data. Is there any way to either A) lock the shapes in place relative to the matrix or B) insert custom subtotal rows in a matrix? Attached is a screenshot of the first column of this matrix, with the shapes in place below "Total Utilities" and "Taxes & Insurance"
Displaying a text column in a measure/matrix
Hello, I have a measure I am using in a matrix as kind of a summary for multiple companies. I am using switch for the column headers and then I have multiple different CALCULATION functions for displaying what I need. However I am having trouble displaying a column that is supposed to show the category for the companies. The data is text. I have tried SELECTEDVALUE and that works if I have slicer and pick that specific category but I want to show the matrix for all categories at the same time, any ideas?
