power bi report server January 2025 matrix visual
I have Power Bi Report server January 2025 (Version1.22.9153.7886(January 2025)) , creating a very simple report using Microsoft Power BI Desktop (Optimized for Power BI Report Server - January 2025) (Version: 2.138.2255.0 64-bit (January 2025))
The report has one slicer and one matrix,
I save the report to report to Power Bi Report server January 2025 , the matrix does not work corretly. in the img bellow the state column is a hierarchy!
in the desktop it show correctly but not in Power Bi Report Server.
please help
the solution was,
update server and os , make sure .net 4.8 or later is installed

This is a known issue. Multiple users have reported issues with the matrix visual in Power BI Report Server after updating to the January 2025 version.Please look for details in :

karyani ,my bad reading year, I am still in 2024 😛 , Anyways let me research it further.
the solution was,
update server and os , make sure .net 4.8 or later is installed
