Mekkochart in Power BI desktop 3.6.1.0 the Y-Axis and the width Axis does not show values unless I filter and remove the filter and it does not respond to the date slicer. it was working fine before. I removed, Added, created new file but non of that worked. any ideas ?Visualisation (Slicer and Button Slicer)
Hi everyone, I hope you all have a nice day. I want to ask (pictures attached), I gave an example of me using visualisation of "Button Slicer (Top)" and "Slicer (Bottom)" in the picture, I have a table where I have Reporting Date column then I make custom column for the quarters and months. The "Year" in the slicer is from Reporting Date hieararchy (Year), but the quarter and month in the slicer, they both are custom column that I made from the Reporting Date column (so they are not the hieararchy of "Reporting Date"). My questions (I don't mind if you answer with "Slicer" visualisation or "Button Slicer" visualisation): In Picture 1, If I select Q1 and it turns grey, how do the visualisation slicer for months turns black (for Jan, Feb, Mar) without me selecting the Quarter slicer? In Picture 2, If I select any month (for example: Aug) and it turns black, how do the visualisation slicer for quarter turns grey (Q2) without me selecting the Quarter slicer? In Picture 3, If I select Year "2025" and it turns black, how do the visualisation slicer for quarter and months also turns black without me selecting Quarter and Month slicer? Please kindly help me answer my questions. Thank you in advance. God bless. 😊🙏1.8KViews0likes1CommentHow can I perform a web request with Authentication headers from a React based custom Visual?
I'm making a React Based custom visual that is inteded to work with my connector, I have a table with URLs where each URL points to an image, you can request that image but the request needs to contain an authorization header, something like this in my React component: try { const response = await fetch(url, { method: "GET", headers: { "Authorization": AUTH_TOKEN } }); At this moment, the token is hardcoded const AUTH_TOKEN = "Bearer eyJ...", my idea is to validate that I can load the images with this aproach, then I would figure it out how to generate or pass this token. But I'm noticing that if I pass the headers, the request is not performed (If the headers are not passed, I can get the images from public sources, for example wikipedia images, but I need to be authenticated to get the images from the desired server) But for my specific case (where the request needs to be authenticated, I'm getting an error): Looking in the Edge console I'm getting: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/17/Amblyglyphidodon_aureus001.jpg' from origin 'null' has been blocked by CORS policy: Request header field authorization is not allowed by Access-Control-Allow-Headers in preflight response. component.tsx:59 GET https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/17/Amblyglyphidodon_aureus001.jpg net::ERR_FAILED I'm getting the same message from the URL of my server. So, I'm assuming the request is being blocked by Power BI, is there a way to pass the headers in the request? Is there a way to install a custom visual using CLI or any other semi-automatic way?
I have develop some custom visuals that I'm planning to distribuite across my user base, but I'm making some test bench to implement some E2E tests. Is it possible to install a .pbiviz file using command line (or any other way that does not involve opening PBI Desktop just like the connectors that need to place the files in the "Custom connectors folder") or the only ways is using the "Get more visuals" > "Import a visual from a file" menu?Funnel chart – how to display more than one value?
ENG Hi everyone, When using the native Power BI funnel visual, we typically add the category (e.g., stages of a sales funnel) and a measure in the values field. However, I often need to display more than one value, such as the number of opportunities at each stage and the average ticket value for those opportunities. I know it’s possible to add the average ticket to the tooltip, but users often want to see both numbers directly on the visual without hovering. In horizontal bar charts, we can customize the data label to show the value and series detail, as well as adjust label positioning. I’ve tried various funnel visuals, but I would like the native funnel chart to offer more flexibility in customization, similar to other visuals that have evolved over time. Does anyone have a tip or workaround for this? If not, I’d like to submit this as a feature request. Thanks! Obrigado!Issues Gantt Chart 3.0.12.0
1. I want to get the startdatetime in the tooltip. I added the field in the tooltips but nothing visible when hoovering over the value. tooltip Settings are "dd-MMM-yy" Where do i go wrong ? 2. Strange behaviour when "Task show items with no data" is checked.... The visual then shows multiple weeks instead of the week i ask for Example asks only for week 6 and shows week 5 and 6.....Certification How to Use sanitization?
Hi, As part of the certification process there is a requirement to: "ensure DOM is manipulated safely. Use sanitization for user input or user data, before adding it to DOM." How have others achived this? I have implemented the code below to loop through all the data from the user and apply a sanitizeHTML function on it. I am not sure if this is enough. options.dataViews[0].table.rows = options.dataViews[0].table.rows.map(innerArray => innerArray.map(element => {if (element) { return sanitizeHtml(String(element)); } else return null }));SolvedCreate Conditional Formatting Group
Hi, I'm trying to create a Conditional Formatting Group in the Customization tab like in the table visual: I thought I may be able to use the ConditionalFormattingControl as the Formatting Component but couldn't find anywhere how to insert it to the pane. Can someone provide an example on how to create something similar? Is it even possible? I want to create a status field that can be formatted as we do in the table visual, so I will want to know how to apply those to my Visual. Thanks in advance!
