The Microsoft Input Slicer visual no longer correctly processes pasted multiline values. Historically, users could copy a column of values from Excel and paste directly into the Input Slicer. Each line would be interpreted as a separate value and applied as a multi-value filter. The current behaviour converts line breaks into spaces, resulting in a single search string instead of multiple filter values. Observations: Issue reproduced using Notepad, therefore not related to Excel clipboard formatting. The visual appears to replace carriage returns / line feeds with spaces before parsing the values. Behaviour differs from previous functionality where bulk paste of multiple values was supported. Environment: Power BI Desktop: 2.156.951.0 (July 2026) OS: Windows 11 (Build 26200) Model Mode: DirectQuery Input Slicer: Microsoft published visual Impact: Users can no longer efficiently paste lists of IDs, emails, personnel numbers, trade IDs, or other identifiers into the Input Slicer for ad-hoc analysis. Values must now be entered individually using Ctrl+Enter, which is impractical for larger lists.18Views0likes0CommentsImages on first page of embedded report flicker and disappear
I have an Image URL visualization which shows an image of the company that is selected in a slicer. It is live on https://www.talkingengagement.ca/municipal-culture-indicators All my images are publicly hosted URLs, in the right format. They all work except for the first image that loads by default. That image flickers in and out, and sometimes disappears completely. The data responds perfectly to the slicer, the flickering problem is only with the image. I tried to troubleshoot by changing the image, changing the number and order of companies in my data; the problem is always with whichever image is loaded first. In powerBI Desktop and MyWorkspace, everything is fine. The problemarises when the report is embedded, on all browsers. The problem is intermittent1.2KViews0likes5CommentsFIX THE 'LINE GRAPH' VISUAL BUG IN LATEST VERSION OF POWER BI
Power BI Desktop 2.156.951.0 (July 2026) appears to have a bug in the standard built-in 'Line Chart' visual. Marker colour formatting is being ignored. Line colour updates correctly but markers continue to render using the default series colour. An example of the issue is highlighted below where we can see that the line graph markers should be displaying in matching pink, but the visual is failing to obey the instruction and is dispalying them in deafult blue instead.23Views0likes0Comments[Issue] Develop Visual Icon does not appear in Desktop

Helo With the March Update we are facing the following error on our visuals (on JSON file) Style Preset not found - click on details the selected style preset did not have a definition the report's custom theme definition. In Power BI table visuals, long column headers can be displayed in a vertical-like format by enabling text wrapping and setting narrow column widths. However, when a table contains many columns and the long headers are outside the initially visible area, the column header height appears to be calculated only from the columns visible when the report is first rendered. After scrolling horizontally, the header height is not recalculated, causing long wrapped headers to be clipped. Example scenario: ・Columns 1–20 use normal horizontal headers with custom widths. ・Columns 21 onward use narrow widths, such as 21–30 px, to display long Japanese headers vertically. ・Only columns 1–20 are visible when the report opens. ・After scrolling to columns 21 onward, the long headers are clipped because the header height remains unchanged. Please add one or both of the following options: ・Allow users to set a fixed column header height. ・Calculate the column header height based on all columns, including columns outside the initially visible area. This would improve usability for wide tables that contain a mix of normal and vertically wrapped column headers.53Views3likes0CommentsPower BI Desktop WebView2 Out Of Memory
Power BI is experiencing a problem with WebView2 running Out of memory. We have identified some of the top causes of this and have the details below. If that does not address your Out of memory problem, contact us at [email protected] Out of Memory cause: Custom visuals causing memory leak - If you are using any custom visuals and are running into Out of Memory crahses, please try removing the custom visuals to check if it resolves the issue. If it does, please reach out with the visual which was cauing the memory leak so we can address it. If you are not using any custom visuals and are still running into this, it could be due to having a lot of report pages and visuals per page. This causes the browser heap memory to exceed the 4GB limit and crash. This is sadly a limitation of chromium. Possible workaround Limit the number of visuals in the report. The recommendation is to split the report into smaller reports and using cross-drillthrough - Use cross-report drillthrough in Power BI Desktop - Power BI | Microsoft Docs. The cross-drillthrough feature carries through filters when using cross drill through.1.1MViews130likes118CommentsPower BI Custom Visuals' Community

Pessoal, boa noite. O problema acontece exclusivamente no Power BI Desktop. Obrigado!436Views0likes1CommentDeneb Cards are no longer working in PowerBI Online - Urgent Issue
My Deneb (vega-lite) cards were working in PowerBI desktop and online for over a month. Suddenly, all of my Deneb cards are no longer rendering and I'm getting the following errors: 'Visuals from AppSource or added from a file are not avaialable due to your admin settings, unless the visual was added from the "My organization" page' and 'Learn more'. I can't figure out what could have changed and if this is a PowerBI or Deneb-specific issue.80Views0likes0Comments
