Hello everyone,
In this video, I will show how to write back data to the data source from Power BI by using the Power Apps Visual. Video tutorial shows how to add, update & delete data in data source directly from Power BI report by using the Power Apps Visual.
The Power App will connect to the data source and perform the Write Back (CRUD) Operations. We will leverage SharePoint as Data Source and perform the writeback.
I will also demonstrate how to leverage Dataverse for Write Back. Dataverse & SQL Support DirectQuery Import mode. This allows the Power App to initiate a near real time refresh of the Power BI Visuals from Power Apps by use the PowerBIIntegration.Refresh() function. The Power App will get its data from the Power BI dataset.
