what is the real data limit for pro

how am I able to publish a 1.2GB report into my Power Bi service with PRO licencing when the maximum limit is 1GB

am I missing something?

please explain

It is really confusing how much size of file I can publish into service

Note:

I can see the file size as 1.2GB in my file manager on PC

Hi @newbie_powerbi

Quite often it is because to get to a true 1GB it is divided by 1024 bytes so that is why it is probably right on the 1GB limit.

hi @GilbertQ

In file explorer, my pbix file is showing 1.2GB

In Dax studio, my pbix file is showing 1.73GB

In both cases I shouldn't be able to publish in service with PRO access right?

I'm not sure why I was able to publish it

I thought it might so glitch but I repeated it several times & I was able to publish it every time without any error
