unable to connect deployment rule to gateway

I have a working gateway supporting our QA datasource.  I'm attempting to deploy paginated reports from a development workspace to a QA workspace, applying a datasource rule to alter the QA source.  The online gateway is listed by the connection name (E.G. Test-EDW).  I have attempted to put the (Case correct) server and database as defined in the online gateway to the rule.  When deployed the rule changes the connection but will not use the gateway.   The DEV connection works from DEV and QA paginated workspace.  The workspaces are premium allocated to support deployement pipelines.  The supporting databases are running on VM's in Azure (IaaS)

Thanks for the guidance, we were not able to change the impersonation level per the cited post.  We will continue to research the setting change and try and solve the impersonation setting.

Hi @Chartisk ,

Based on the error message, it seems that the impersonation level is incorrect. You need to ensure that the Gateway service process user has "Impersonate a client after authentication" and "Act as part of the operating system" rights in Local Group Policy. You can follow the steps mentioned in this post to resolve the issue.
