There is lag beteen the reports shown on power bi online and the embed link. what can be done can you assist.

Does you mean report which embed with 'publish to web' feature?
If this is a case, 'publish to web' reports has one hour or more delay from original dataset, you can take a look at below link to know more about this.

Data refresh

Data refreshes are automatically reflected in your embedded report or visual. It can take approximately 1 hour for refreshed data to be visible from embed codes. You can disable automatic refresh by selecting do not refresh on the schedule for the dataset used by the report.
