Hi Team,
With the removal of "Microsoft Power BI" from the app store (not "PowerBI Desktop"), I have lost the ability to use the "slideshow" feature that I've been using to display a multi-page report on a dedicated screen in the office.
i.e. the goal is to have the multi-page report in full screen mode, changing tabs/pages every 30 seconds or so.
This feature existed in "Microsoft Power BI" but appears to be gone now in the PowerBI Service web portal.
I feel like this is something others have been asking about for a while.... the only solution appears to be a "Chrome Extension" where we open each individual page as a separate Chrome Tab and use the extension to auto switch between tabs. This feels like a really wonky workaround.
Please tell me there is another option 🙂
Thanks!
JR
Solved! Go to Solution.
From my understanding you can currently do this with PowerPoint. You can embed the visuals into a PowerPoint with the PowerBi add-in.
Here is a good resource on it:
Add a live Power BI report page to PowerPoint - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

We're all waiting for the promised and long overdue PowerPoint integration improvements that allegedly include slideshow mode.
