I have two reports published in powerbi service, lets call them R1 and R2. Each one of these reports have their own models M1 and M2, and credentials C1 and C2. As soon as I set C1 for M1, R1 works fine but R2 stop working. If then I set C2 on M2 R2 starts working fine but R1 stop working, if then I set again C1 on M1, R1 start working again but R2 stop working. You get the idea. This problem happens no matter if we publish them at the same workarea or in different workareas. The error message is the same always: "The key didn't match any rows in the table..". Both reports are going to GoogleCloud using the Big Query connector.
Any idea where should I look?
By giving, as a test, same permissions to C1 as to C2 in GCP, I could confirm that setting credentials for M1 is overwritting the credentials for M2 as well but still don't find why this is happening. Each model is going to a different GCP project and each credentials have the necessary permissions for their respective projects because both can work but not at the same time.
Hi @red_john
When you set credentials for one dataset (M1 or M2), it may be overwriting the credentials for the other dataset, especially if they are shared in any way or if the Power BI Service is treating them as related datasets.
If the reports are created from templates, ensure that the templates are not linked in a way that causes credential sharing.
Try setting up the datasets and reports under different Power BI Pro accounts to see if the issue is related to user-specific settings or permissions.
Verify that each dataset is connecting to the correct BigQuery project and dataset. Ensure that the credentials provided have the necessary permissions for the respective projects.
