Hi @Rajathi ,

The problem usually occurs because Power BI cannot log in to the data source. Make sure Power BI can log into the data source.

If the semantic model is connected to a local data source, the gateway may go offline.

If the credentials used to log in to the data source change, be sure to try logging in to the data source again in the data source credentials.

Be sure to set "Send refresh failure notification" to "Semantic Model Owner" to be immediately informed if a scheduled refresh fails.

Sometimes data may not be refreshed as expected. This problem usually involves the gateway.

The gateway acts as a bridge between on-premises data and cloud services.

It is essential for refreshing data sets that are not directly connected to cloud services.

You can follow the steps below.:

Select the gear icon in the upper right corner.

Click new in the upper left corner to configure data source information.

After the configuration is complete, go to the workspace and select semantic model.

Under the "Gateway and cloud connections" tab, select the gateway you just configured.

Hi,

Thank you so much  for your reply but I have configured gateway connections and able to refresh the report in Power BI service. The issue is one of the table visual displaying incorrect results in service .My table is having ID and some description values for easch ID..Report is getting data from SQL table.Sql table ID and its correcsponding description are displaying correctly in PBI desktop but when I publish the same report in PBI service that description values are randomly changing after every refresh but in Source SQL table and in desktop description values are different from service. I have refreshed the report in Pbi desktop and  republished it in service but once I started refreshing the report in service after publishing the decription values are keep on changing after every refresh .In Power query editor there is merge query  step between fact and dimension table ..but no issues with the report  in desktop and it is displaying correct description values as per source sql table. The only problem is in service.there is no RLS and gateway is up to date.No hidden filters in service
