Hello,
Yesterday i tried to deploy my report from Development to Test via the power bi deployment pipeline as i do every 2 weeks after all the changes are implemented. Except now when i did it and tried to open the report it says:
Couldn't load the model schema associated with this report. Make sure you have a connection to the server, and try again.
my report is connected to an SSAS model (live connection), i have setup the deployment rules to let it look at another environment. if i look at the lineage it all looks great but it still gives the error. My account is admin on the workspace and i have acces to the SSAS server. I have tried emptying the workspace and started all over but nothing helps.. i even tried it in another workspace. I have also tried it out with other reports who look at the same SSAS server but different model and they work fine.
and now comes the weirdest part, if i upload the report manually with the same connection settings to Test, everything works.
Im kinda out of options right now but i need it to work via the pipeline since we are going to automate that in a few weeks.
@Karola souns like a specific problem that we would need to explore.
