I have a number of spreadsheets situated on sharepoint that until very recently, had been successfully refreshing in Power BI Service (by both scheduled refresh, and refresh now).
As of yesterday, both refresh types have stopped working for all spreadsheets, and I am at a loss as to why this may be. I have not made any changes to either sharepoint or power bi service.
If anyone has any suggestions as to what may be going wrong I would be greatly appreciative
Regards,
Tom

Hi @GilbertQ
I am using Sharepoint online
@Seth_C_BauerI have actually just now went back to the spreadsheet on Sharepoint, and updated it with more data. Following this, I clicked refresh now within Power BI service, and for whatever reason the issue has resolved itself.
I am not sure why refresh would not work for a period of about 7 days - I can only put it down to a temporary glitch
Thank you both for your assistance, it has been appreciated 🙂
@perkot If you look at the properties of the datset is everything normal, or is there a prompt for credentials or something throwing an error?
additionally I should mention that I successfully refreshed a number of my spreadsheets last night, leaving just one that I have not successfully refreshed.
Hi @perkot
Is this SharePoint online or SharePoint On-Premise?
The reason is if it is using the On-Premise Gateway or via the Online file stores.

@Seth_C_Bauer thank you for your response - I have checked the properties on sharepoint and everything seems to be in order. A very rudimentary question, but can properties/permissions be checked within the service also?
