Can Team Members Connect to a Published Data Source?
Is it possible for my team members to connect to a published data source in the cloud?
My goal is to dump data to a file on the server, then have Power BI programatically publish that data to the cloud for team members to access. If they all connect directly to the file, I can't overwrite the file with the data dump.

Hi Nick,
Happy to help! So a couple of questions. Are you wanting to have a published PBI Report Model that is refreshing data from a server. Then have people connect to that PBI Model? It is definitely possible with Power BI to host a dedicated model that can then be live connected to by either A) other PBI Desktop files or B) Excel files (using the Analyze in Excel Feature). If you have the model published in a group. Then any members of that PBI Group should be able to access the model from either PBI Desktop or Excel.
