    Tomband,

     

    They understand how the Power BI Premium model works but they would like to try it before buying, is there any trial offer for Premium? On the website customer can only get a trial for PowerBI Pro.

    Currently, there is no Power BI Premium trial. As you said, Power BI premium provide resources dedicated to running the Power BI service for your organization or team, giving you more dependable performance and larger data volumes. You could have a clear underestanding of Power BI premium before speak to your IT Admin to purchase it. Please refer to the link below to see the details.

Marking this as solved is pretty rough...

 

The ability to administrate the Power BI Premium service and regulate activity is very poor.  I cannot see which data sets could be causing the most issues, and I cannot tell which users are scheduling refreshes the most often.  The only option I have to mitigate the experience is to DOUBLE capacity, either by going to the P2 node, or getting a second P1 node.  Again, no way to be sure for sure on what I should do or should not do.

 

At this point, pretty disappointed in a $60k decision our company made.  I have this gas gauge which appears gives all of these detailed statistics on usage...
