Microsoft Fabric trial ends
When your Microsoft Fabric trial ends, buy Microsoft Fabric or move Fabric items to a Power BI Premium capacity. Fabric items not moved within 7 days after your trial ends may be permanently deleted.
Can someone explain the above? If I have the Power BI Pro subscription, it does not mean that I can still use the Fabric?
How is the cost of Fabric being charged? I remember I read somewhere it is a fixed monthly charged, regardless of how much you use?
Hi tan_thiamhuat,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum. When your Microsoft Fabric trial ends, you must move Fabric items (e.g: lakehouses, notebooks) to a paid Fabric capacity (F-SKU) or a Power BI Premium capacity (P1 or higher) with Fabric enabled within 7 days to avoid permanent deletion. A Power BI Pro license supports Power BI reports but does not cover other Fabric workloads without a capacity.
To move items to a Premium capacity, ensure Fabric is enabled in your capacity settings. For detailed steps, see Moving Fabric Power BI Workspaces from Premium or Free Trial to New F-SKUs.
Costs are based on compute (e.g: F2 ~$0.36/hour or ~$156.33/month reserved) and OneLake storage (~$0.023/GB/month). More details:

The workspaces associated fabric free trail if not moved to a dedicated fabric capacity in a span of 7 day post completion of fabric trail , the workspace items would be deleted.
So one has to move the workspace from fabric free trail capacity to a fabric dediacted capacity.
Power BI pro capacity wont suffice
