new create app / no copy for enduser

Hi all,

I want to give the enduser the possibility to make a copy of the report in own workspace and edit it. But without to load the .pbix file. Like in old times 🙂

With the new feature of the create app that seems not possible any more?!

I put a tick at:

Allow people to build content with the datasets in this app

I think there is also something like a bug. when i open the workspace i see the report double. when i update the browser it vanishes.

would it maybe help when the Power BI Admin deactivate User experience experiments? Or has this new feature nothing to do with that?

No I want that the enduser have access to the report via power bi service app. In the past the enduser had the possibility to copy the report: In app --> File --> Save a copy (for example save a copy in own workspace). this feature doenst exist any more.

As of now we have disabled “Save a copy” feature for the preview of the multiple audience feature. We are working on providing a better offering.

So with roll back i mean deactive this preview feature in service so that i can use the old workspace again.

What exactly do you mean by a rollback operation.

When you choose to unpublish, this action uninstalls the app for everyone you publish to, and they no longer have access to the app. This action will not delete the workspace or its contents, but the app user will lose their custom items.

PS: Can I roll back if it is not available any more? In service i choosed the new update of this create app version (multiple audiences).
