Is it possible to prevent certain tables from being refreshed?

In Power BI Desktop, when you disable "Include in report refresh" option, data will not update in report view of Power BI Desktop after you click "Refresh" button in Desktop.

But "Include in report refresh" option only works for Power BI Desktop, it doesn't impact the refresh process in Power BI Service.

There is no way to prevent certain tables from being refreshed in power bi service for now. and as a workaround, you could use Incremental refresh.

Here is an idea, Please help to upvote the idea to be able to change the default behaviour here!

there is another option for incremntal refresh in PBI pro?

incremntal refresh is only available for PBI premuim for now.

But it will soon be available for PBI pro.
