Hello,
I want to analyse usage metrics of a report by its pages.
Is it possible?
In this way, I will decide to remove some pages of the report...
Solved! Go to Solution.
Thanks a lot 🙏I found it finally
In fact, there is two versions for report usage metrics. At the right top corner, there is an option for "switch to old view". The new one doesnt have page detail, but the old one has.
Yes, it is possible to analyze report usage metrics by report page in Power BI.
One way to do this is by using the "Usage Metrics" feature in the Power BI service. You can access this feature by opening the report and clicking on the "Usage Metrics" button in the toolbar. This will show you a detailed breakdown of user activity, including the number of views, interactions, and time spent on each report page.
Another way to analyze report usage by page is to use custom tracking with tools like Google Analytics or Azure Application Insights. By tracking page-level events and metrics, you can gain even more detailed insights into how users are interacting with your report pages, which can help inform decisions about page design and content.
Once you have access to this data, you can use it to make data-driven decisions about which pages to keep or remove from your report, based on factors like user engagement and value to your audience.
Dear DataSlayer,
I checked again usage metrics report. There is list of reports, but there isn't detail of the pages in the reports.
Where can I see pages? Can you show it to me with a screenshot please?
